Zhou Xiaohu was born in Changzhou, Jiangso Province. In 1989 he graduated from the prestigious Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. His work was featured in many exhibitions including the 1st Guangzhou Triennial at the Guangdong Museum of Art 2005 and 'China Now' at The Museum of Modern Art, New York in 2004 as well as 'The Chinese' in the Wolfsburg Kunstmuseum.
